Key Responsibilities

•Design, build, and operate backend services and data pipelines to extract, classify, and resolve information from semi-structured legal documents at scale.
•Build and operate LLM-powered workflows (batch classification, prompt design/calibration, retrieval, and model integration) using providers such as OpenAI and AWS Bedrock.
•Improve accuracy and coverage of citation recognition, citation resolution, and treatment detection across multiple jurisdictions.
•Measure and improve model quality using large heterogeneous document sets and curated evaluation datasets.
•Ensure solutions are observable, reliable, secure, and cost-efficient with monitoring and operational ownership; operate in AWS using CI/CD practices.

Salary: CAD 144,700 - 195,900 annually

•Experience with semi-structured/heterogeneous data such as documents and JSON, including parsing, extraction, classification, and entity resolution.
•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data, or equivalent practical experience.
