Key Responsibilities

  • •Sand composite panels using orbital sanders, sanding blocks, and sandpaper per Airbus Helicopters specifications.
  • •Remove contaminants using compressed air and designated solvent-based solutions before masking and painting.
  • •Apply masking tape/paper following templates and contour lines; cut and shape masking precisely, then carefully de-mask and load/unload components.
  • •Perform professional spray painting inside the paint booth by applying primer and top coats with spray guns, maintaining booth readiness.
  • •Inspect dried/cured panels for defects and verify paint thickness using specialized gauges; maintain 5S compliance and follow safety/PPE requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •3–5 years of industrial paint experience or auto body work is highly preferred, with direct experience in sanding, surface preparation, and precision masking.
  • •Use tools including air-powered orbital sanders, manual sanding blocks, utility knives, thickness gauges, and paint spray guns.
  • •High attention to detail and ability to follow technical drawings, standardized work instructions, and predefined specifications.
  • •Team player with strong organizational and time-management skills, plus independent problem-solving ability.
  • •Bilingualism (French/English) and proficiency with SAP and Microsoft Office/Google Suite are strong assets; must pass an annual medical exam and wear mandated PPE/respirator equipment.
