Job Summary

Serve as the primary service and maintenance contact for Trane Technologies customers across a defined market. Commission, troubleshoot, repair, and start up HVAC systems in commercial environments, working with internal and external partners on new setups and retrofits. Coordinate onsite installation and repair needs, use diagnostic tools and cutting-edge technology, and follow blueprints while enforcing safety standards and maintaining accountability of company assets.

Key Responsibilities

•Coordinate with team leaders/project managers and customers to understand onsite installation and repair requirements, forecasting issues, gathering materials, and synchronizing work.
•Serve as direct customer contact and ensure customer satisfaction by diagnosing, repairing, and servicing HVAC equipment and systems at customer locations.
•Use cutting-edge technology along with hand tools and blueprints/engineering specifications to diagnose and repair units.
•Maintain flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed, including occasional overnight stays.
•Enforce safety standards and maintain security/accountability of company-issued and procured assets by recording use, wear, and conditions.

Key Requirements

•High School Diploma or equivalent required.
•Typically 5+ years of experience in HVAC; technical school or formal training preferred.
•Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office software and proficiency with a hand-held computer (e.g., smartphone, iPad).
•Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with acceptable driving record.
•EPA Certification and a Maine Propane Natural Gas License.
