Job Summary

Deliver road safety training courses for the Lincolnshire Road Safety Partnership (LRSP), joining a team of trainers who provide both virtual and face-to-face sessions in Lincoln. This flexible consultancy role supports scheduled and ad-hoc, hourly-paid work by managing clients, courses, and service users, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with UKROEd Trainer Licence requirements and mandatory CPD.

Key Responsibilities

•Deliver LRSP local road safety training and initiatives, including managing clients, courses, and service users.
•Work independently, delivering courses across a variety of locations and professional settings.
•Manage conflict and dissatisfied clients in line with the LRSP trainer handbook.
•Participate in internal and external assessment procedures and complete continuing professional development.
•Conduct dynamic risk assessments and maintain compliance with UKROEd trainer licence and required training deliverables, including mandatory courses via Lincs2Learn and CPD via UKROEd Academy.

Key Requirements

•A full UKROEd licence to deliver national speed awareness courses or other NDORS courses.
•A training/teacher qualification and proven experience delivering training/teaching.
•Knowledge of road safety training methods and relevant road safety legislation and good practice.
•The ability to deliver to diverse audiences in challenging circumstances within set timeframes.
•Up-to-date training competence and the required technology for compliant delivery (e.g., internet, webcam/speakers, and tools for virtual delivery).
