Key Responsibilities

  • •Own end-to-end program management for cross-functional data and AI governance initiatives, including running sprints, tracking progress, and reporting weekly and monthly to a steering committee.
  • •Map dependencies across domains and align stakeholders on data and AI governance strategy, priorities, and sequencing.
  • •Set the strategy for implementing data and AI governance frameworks, assess proportionality to risk, and define and track success metrics.
  • •Translate governance requirements into operational processes that reduce data access risk without blocking the business, including access management, reviews, and technical hardening.
  • •Run technical deep dives on access control implementation across systems (e.g., Okta and Databricks), drive technical requirements through approval, and maintain an AI model and use case inventory to track AI legal and governance risks.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of experience in a fast-growing tech startup, top-tier strategy/management consulting, or equivalent.
  • •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with exceptional stakeholder management and influencing across Engineering and Legal teams.
  • •Experience with data governance initiatives, including data tagging, classification, and ownership.
  • •Experience with access management, including coordinating cross-functional delivery and reviewing access to sensitive data to identify risks and drive remediation.
  • •Demonstrated ability to run programs end-to-end, including sprint facilitation, dependency mapping, progress reporting, and cross-functional alignment; Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
