Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and develop high-speed IO/SerDes analog/mixed-signal (AMS) circuit architecture and design.
  • •Collaborate with system/platform and SOC architects to translate system-level specs into AMS block and circuit-level requirements.
  • •Author AMS block circuit and architecture technical specifications.
  • •Own AMS pre-silicon verification and AMS post-silicon characterization/validation test plans.
  • •Work with project managers, system architects, IC designers, and physical designers to ensure quality and timely deliverables.
  • •Communicate technical and management updates effectively at peer and upward management levels.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 216,000 - 324,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •MS or PhD in Electrical, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
  • •Hand-on experience designing multi-Gbps serial interfaces (e.g., PCIe, USB), parallel high-bandwidth memory PHY/IOs (DDR4/DDR5, HBM2/HBM3, gDDR5/gDDR6), and chip-to-chip links.
  • •Strong fundamentals in mixed-signal circuit architecture and design for receiver/transmitter and PLL/DLL/clocking, including mismatch mitigation, linearity, stability, low-power, and low-noise techniques.
  • •Experience architecting analog mixed-signal blocks including DLLs, phase interpolator, low-jitter clock distribution, bandgap, biasing circuits, LDO regulators, amplifiers, and comparators.
  • •Proficiency with AMS design flows/tools (Cadence schematic capture, Virtuoso, Spectre and/or HSPICE) and a track record taking AMS designs to production.
