Job Summary

Configure and maintain the ATS software development environment for the Air Traffic Solutions Department. Collaborate in an Agile, highly integrated engineering team to design, develop, test, and support operational software components across the software development life-cycle, using Unix/Linux, scripting, and standard DevTools.

Key Responsibilities

•Configure and maintain our software development environment
•Maintain documentation and work instructions needed to meet ATS SED’s high maturity level software engineering standards and processes
•Participate in the agile process including daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, back log grooming and story pointing
•Work with an integrated engineering team in a highly collaborative environment, requiring frequent multi-level communication with engineering team members, program management and external stakeholders
•Support, design, develop, integrate, and test operational software components throughout the software development life-cycle

Key Requirements

•Requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field
•Strong working knowledge of Unix/Linux environments
•Experience with Linux Operating System tuning, patching, hardening, and access control
•Experience configuring, maintaining, and managing software development tools, services, and server installations
•Experience with configuring and maintaining networking routers and servers
•Proficiency with scripting languages such as Bash and Python
•U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under these programs/contracts.
