Key Responsibilities

  • •Evaluate, select, and order manufacturing equipment that is appropriate and cost effective.
  • •Oversee installation, modification, upgrade, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
  • •Monitor equipment manufacturers’ technical notices, upgrades, and safety issues.
  • •Study equipment performance and reliability to improve uptime.
  • •Provide technical support for equipment repair and process engineering, including preventative maintenance schedules.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Physics, or related engineering.
  • •Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience as an Equipment Engineer in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
  • •Equipment experience with AMAT Mirra Polishers and/or Novellus Polishers.
  • •Prior experience with CMP/WET equipment.
  • •Working knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing and SPC techniques; cleanroom protocol experience preferred.
