Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as the key point of contact for external partner event bookings, ensuring event details are accurately captured and recorded.
  • •Maintain and update event bookings on the Spoonfed system and ensure operational requirements (timings, provider details, access, power, delivery windows, set-up and breakdown) are included.
  • •Liaise with external providers before, during, and after events to confirm operational requirements and ensure compliance with University procedures.
  • •Coordinate internal communication across relevant departments and attend planning meetings/briefings/debriefs as required.
  • •Be present on-site when needed to coordinate provider arrival and set-up, resolve issues during events, and report incidents, damage, complaints, and safety concerns.

Key Requirements

  • •Educated to A Level standard (or equivalent), such as a Level 3 NVQ, Level 3 national diploma, or relevant work experience evidencing the skills to do the role.
  • •Minimum grade C in Mathematics and English at GCSE (or equivalent).
  • •Professional experience in a Hospitality or Events role.
  • •Ability to analyse numerical and financial data and accurately plan ahead to manage time and deadlines.
  • •Highly proficient IT skills, including MS Office and website editing software, with confidence to learn new systems.
