Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform scheduled and preventative maintenance on wind turbines to ensure efficient performance, reliability, and production.
  • •Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and control system issues using technical drawings, schematics, diagnostic tools, and SCADA systems.
  • •Support Balance of Plant (BOP) operations including substations, collector systems, switchyards, and associated civil infrastructure.
  • •Complete asset integrity inspections, maintenance reporting, and work documentation within Maximo and other maintenance management systems.
  • •Promote a strong safety culture by following safe work practices, identifying hazards, and supporting contractor oversight as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or relevant experience, with 1–2 years in wind turbine maintenance and direct troubleshooting capability.
  • •Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, gearbox, and power generation systems, including interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
  • •Experience using SCADA systems, diagnostic tools, Microsoft Office, and maintenance management software such as Maximo (or equivalent).
  • •Strong understanding of industrial safety practices including LOTO, electrical safety, confined space entry, and working at heights.
  • •Valid driver’s license and willingness to complete required certifications and training, including First Aid/CPR, AED, climb and rescue, and confined space training.
