Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and document assembly, rack integration, and test processes for new server and rack products, including work instructions, process flows, takt/cycle time targets, and line layout.
  • •Lead new line and new site bring-up at CM/ODM partners, covering process validation, capacity verification, pilot builds, and release to mass production.
  • •Specify, source, and validate tooling, fixtures, and test equipment used by partners.
  • •Own first-pass yield, cycle time, and process capability in production using SPC, failure/rework analysis, and corrective actions with manufacturing partners.
  • •Provide design-for-manufacturing and design-for-test feedback during development and qualify process/engineering changes (including PFMEA updates, control plan revisions, and operator training).

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering or process engineering for complex electromechanical/electronics products built at a contract manufacturer or ODM.
  • •Designed and released production processes end to end (line layout, work instructions, fixtures, test) and owned yield and cycle time in mass production.
  • •Led a new line or site bring-up at a manufacturing partner.
  • •Experience with PFMEA, control plans, SPC, process capability, gauge R&R, DFM/DFT, and structured root cause methods such as 8D.
  • •Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
