Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform design and planning for structural design of maritime/waterfront projects including ports and harbors, marinas, container and offshore wind terminals, and coastal protection and resiliency.
  • •Prepare calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical reports, and support oversight of deliverables produced by junior structural engineers.
  • •Conduct quality control review of design calculations and drawings.
  • •Develop technical scope and design fee estimates in response to RFPs.
  • •Coordinate with other in-house and subconsultant engineering disciplines and perform condition assessments and site visits as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or related field plus four (4) plus years of relevant experience (or demonstrated equivalency).
  • •Professional Engineering licensure in Civil/Structural Engineering.
  • •Master of Science with a Structural Engineering concentration.
  • •Six (6) plus years of experience as a Structural Engineer focused on ports, marine, and waterfront projects.
  • •Experience with computer analysis and design software such as SAP 2000, RISA 3D, STAAD.Pro, SAFE; plus AutoCAD and Revit.
