Key Responsibilities

•Edit content for linear newscasts and prepare video content and stories for newscasts.
•Edit digital videos for multi-platform distribution, including YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok.
•Partner with the EP to ensure alignment across platforms and execute deliverables in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
•Demonstrate editing techniques and trends for individual social platforms and participate in long-form editing and special projects.
•Communicate with show producers, management, assignment desk, reporters, coordinate with photographers and other editors, and practice ethical journalism.

Key Requirements

•1+ year of digital post-production experience, including editing in Adobe Premiere Pro.
•1+ year working in a newsroom environment.
•Experience with digital workflows and file-based delivery.
•Experience with frame rates, aspect ratios, and resolutions.
•Demonstrated news editorial judgment and strong written/verbal communication skills.
