Key Responsibilities

•Support the preparation of bids and tenders for water science services across a range of sectors.
•Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to ensure resources, budgets, and controls meet programme and budget requirements.
•Plan and implement complex monitoring and fieldwork, including water quality monitoring and hydromorphological surveys.
•Provide water science consultancy and advisory services through check/review processes, supporting technically robust solutions to complex issues.
•Engage statutory stakeholders and author deliverables for Water Environment Impact Assessments, WFD/WER compliance, nutrient neutrality assessments, and related management plans and consents.

Key Requirements

•Extensive experience undertaking Water Environment Impact and WFD/WER assessments.
•Experience across multiple infrastructure types, planning regimes (Ireland preferred; UK beneficial), and project stages (feasibility/concept through post-construction).
•Technical specialization in a water-science area such as water science, water quality, hydrology, or hydromorphology.
•Ability to write proposals and develop scopes for surveys, monitoring, and assessments.
•Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and collaborating with designers and other environmental specialists.
