Key Responsibilities

  • •Implement standardization and continuous improvement initiatives to improve safety, service, quality, or cost.
  • •Provide process support for key manufacturing processes across plants and participate in process Best Practice Teams.
  • •Identify and lead cost takeout opportunities via waste reduction, material substitutions, and equipment modifications.
  • •Manage and/or lead CI project teams delivering at least $1.0MM in cost savings per year, including progress reporting and barrier resolution.
  • •Develop and execute process standards (start-up/shut-down, resin handling, QA standards, standard operating conditions) and coach/mentor process engineers and other team members.

Key Requirements

  • •7-10 years professional experience in a manufacturing organization.
  • •Bachelor’s degree required; engineering or industrial technology preferred.
  • •Training and experience in Lean methodologies, Black/Green belt, and Kaizens.
  • •Demonstrated ability to problem solve across a variety of business processes.
  • •Thorough understanding of business processes and process improvement with strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
