Key Responsibilities

  • •Transport materials by continually driving the truck within the facility.
  • •Operate heavy equipment (including haul truck, water truck, dump truck, dredge, track hoe, frontend loader, and skid steer loader) under supervisor direction.
  • •Maintain safety by monitoring OSHA and/or MSHA regulations, identifying hazards/malfunctions, and performing daily pre-trip inspections.
  • •Assist with miscellaneous duties such as general labor, shoveling, equipment maintenance, and supporting foreperson/crew and plant management as requested.
  • •Assist with crusher operations as required, including feeding the crusher consistently while maintaining safety regulations at quarry locations.

Key Requirements

  • •Less than or equal to a high school diploma or GED, or 1–3 months related experience and/or training; prior heavy equipment experience and crushing operation experience are helpful.
  • •Ability to detect safety hazards and equipment malfunctions and respond accordingly.
  • •Ability to safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment, including haul truck and water/dump/dredge/track hoe/frontend loader/skid steer equipment.
  • •Ability to understand and follow directions, including professional communication for exchanging ideas and verbal instructions.
  • •Ability to weld and fabricate as needed, and to follow safety procedures per the Manual of Safety Practices and Procedures and company policies.
