Job Summary

Deliver soils, aggregates, and other construction materials to residential and commercial locations using a Class A truck. Perform pre- and post-trip inspections, handle routine oil/grease/service and minor adjustments, and load/unload large quantities of water for compaction or dust control. Maintain time and material records, follow verbal and written instructions, and communicate effectively via radio while keeping equipment in efficient working condition.

Key Responsibilities

•Deliver soils, aggregates, and other materials to residential and commercial locations.
•Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and make routine oil/grease/service and normal operating adjustments to the truck.
•Load and unload large quantities of water for compaction and/or dust control.
•Maintain the equipment’s efficient working condition and perform minor servicing/maintenance or refer major problems to the supervisor.
•Communicate effectively via radio, follow instructions, and lift/move materials as needed.

Key Requirements

•At least one year of related experience and ability to operate efficiently in a skilled position.
•Class A driver qualification.
•Safely operate equipment efficiently and complete pre- and post-trip inspections.
•Keep time and material records and follow verbal and written instructions.
•Knowledge of different types and sizes of aggregates and effective communication on the radio system.
