Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver soils, aggregates, and other materials to residential and commercial locations.
  • •Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and make routine oil/grease/service and normal operating adjustments to the truck.
  • •Load and unload large quantities of water for compaction and/or dust control.
  • •Maintain the equipment’s efficient working condition and perform minor servicing/maintenance or refer major problems to the supervisor.
  • •Communicate effectively via radio, follow instructions, and lift/move materials as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •At least one year of related experience and ability to operate efficiently in a skilled position.
  • •Class A driver qualification.
  • •Safely operate equipment efficiently and complete pre- and post-trip inspections.
  • •Keep time and material records and follow verbal and written instructions.
  • •Knowledge of different types and sizes of aggregates and effective communication on the radio system.
