Job Summary

Act as a Retail Banking Risk Partner to strengthen operational risk governance and controls. Administer the Operational Risk Management Framework, facilitate Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSA), run control testing, and monitor Key Risk Indicators (KRIs). Manage operational risk incidents, coordinate risk acceptance submissions, and deliver dashboards and management reports. Lead process and customer journey reviews, recommending and implementing improvements through root-cause analysis and remediation.

Key Responsibilities

•Administer and maintain the bank’s Operational Risk Management Framework, tools, and governance processes.
•Facilitate RCSA and conduct control testing to identify risks and control effectiveness gaps, ensuring timely remediation.
•Monitor, analyze, and report KRIs and manage operational risk incidents from logging through root cause analysis, tracking, and closure.
•Develop and present risk dashboards and management/escalation reports to senior stakeholders to support decision-making.
•Conduct end-to-end process and customer journey reviews, lead root cause analysis, and drive process re-engineering and improvement initiatives.

Key Requirements

•2+ years of experience in Banking or Financial Services, preferably within a First Line of Defense (1LOD), Risk, Operations, or Controls environment.
•Strong understanding of Operational Risk Management, governance frameworks, and internal controls.
•Experience conducting Risk & Control Self-Assessments (RCSA), control reviews, or process assessments.
•Ability to identify operational risks and control gaps and recommend practical remediation actions.
•Experience in incident management, root cause analysis, and process improvement initiatives.
