Job Summary

Support clients with programme advisory and project finance, helping develop and optimize procurement and funding strategies to meet Net Zero targets. Assess business challenges, shape “optimal” solutions, and help implement them using tailored processes, tools, and systems. Operate confidently in a multidisciplinary team, deliver high-quality client care, communicate and present clearly, and contribute to business generation opportunities, with flexibility to travel.

Key Responsibilities

•Support clients in developing, implementing, and optimising procurement and funding strategies for greener, sustainable outcomes aligned to Net Zero targets.
•Understand programme lifecycle factors, with emphasis on business case development and major infrastructure development using private capital.
•Assess business challenges, develop “optimal” solutions, and contribute to implementation of those solutions.
•Tailor and apply established processes, tools, and systems, contributing to continuous improvement and development.
•Present ideas and outputs clearly, operate in a multidisciplinary team, and support business generation opportunities as appropriate.

Key Requirements

•Degree, Masters, or MBA qualification (or equivalent experience) would be advantageous.
•Experience in project finance and/or business case development, preferably in de-carbonisation/Net Zero, renewable energy, defence, or water.
•Experience working with the public sector, managing transactions/projects in a public sector delivery setting across sectors and organisations.
•Understanding of UK policy guidance and economic benefit assessment, including social value, community benefits, and low carbon transition.
•Able to hold valid security clearance (SC) and be a British National (hold a UK passport).
