Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and roll out a standardized Product P&L framework for evaluating device and software profitability.
  • •Partner with Supply Chain and Sales to align component costs and pricing to margin targets using defensible financial data.
  • •Build and maintain mechanisms to monitor product financial performance (margin health, warranty drag, upgrade subsidy costs) and flag deviations to leadership.
  • •Own end-to-end design of a standardized, cross-functional End-of-Life (EOL) process, including governance, approvals, and a repeatable sunset playbook.
  • •Assess the live and legacy device fleet to identify EOL candidates using financial modeling and model upgrade/migration economics, partnering with Sales, Customer Support, and Marketing to execute sunsets.

Key Requirements

  • •6–8+ years in product finance, FP&A, business operations, or a finance-focused product strategy role, ideally in consumer electronics, IoT, or subscription hardware businesses.
  • •Advanced proficiency building P&L models, margin analysis, and unit economics (Excel or equivalent modeling tools).
  • •Proven ability to design and launch a 0-to-1 framework or process from ambiguity and drive adoption across cross-functional teams.
  • •Comfort working with large, complex datasets for financial modeling; working knowledge of SQL or BI tools (Tableau, PowerBI) is a plus.
