Key Responsibilities

  • •Undertake delivery of a range of rail civils designs, including stations, train maintenance and servicing depots, drainage, and lineside civils.
  • •Provide expertise with the civils design team across multi-disciplinary projects from conceptual phases to implementation.
  • •Lead through the complexities of transportation projects to support clients and resolve issues collaboratively.
  • •Support other parts of the business on major multi-disciplinary projects.
  • •Work as part of an established Glasgow-based rail projects region providing technical leadership across the infrastructure lifecycle.

Key Requirements

  • •Chartered or Incorporated Engineer (CEng/IEng), or working towards this status.
  • •Recognised engineering qualification, preferably a degree in engineering.
  • •Knowledge of civils design experience with technical engineering leadership that influences discipline design principles.
  • •Demonstrated experience managing interfaces within projects.
  • •Ability to provide technical leadership of rail projects across the infrastructure lifecycle from feasibility through detailed design.
