Job Summary

Perform non-destructive testing (radiographic, ultrasonic, magnetic particle, and penetrant) to support production operations, developmental design, and failure analysis. Certify to NAS 410 and use multiple NDT methods to inspect hardware onsite and occasionally evaluate offsite. Collaborate with engineers to develop test plans, validate inspection techniques and setups, and communicate/document results in engineering reports while managing tasks against schedule and budget.

•Conduct non-destructive testing to support production operations, developmental design, and failure analysis.
•Perform onsite inspections of hardware and travel to perform offsite evaluations as required.
•Develop new inspection techniques and validate qualified methods, test plans, and inspection setups.
•Collaborate with engineers to design proper sequencing and communicate/interpret inspection results.
•Manage a wide variety of tasks within schedule and budget requirements, including potential 2nd shift work.

Key Requirements

•University degree (or equivalent) with at least 2 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field.
•NAS 410 Level 2 certification (or equivalent) across multiple methods (ultrasonic, radiography, magnetic particle, fluorescent penetrant).
•Experience using multiple non-destructive test methods, including digital/film radiography and ultrasonic (contact/immersion/CSAM).
•Experience in interpreting and/or developing NDT procedures and technique sheets.
•Ability to work in a stressful, on-demand environment and communicate effectively under duress.
