Key Requirements

  • •Implemented novel techniques in vector similarity for a search platform with a large user base or contributed to academic research in vector similarity information retrieval.
  • •Professional experience with search or vector databases using algorithms/libraries such as HNSW, IVF, or similar approaches at scale.
  • •Strong core Java skills, including data structures, concurrency constructs, and modern language features like lambdas.
  • •Ability to take projects from design through delivery with a high level of autonomy and guide the work end to end.
  • •Experience with search relevance and the ability to drive improvements through investigation and sound engineering judgment.
