Key Responsibilities

  • •Establish and maintain survey control points, benchmarks, and reference grids across the site and alignment.
  • •Set out alignments, levels, gridlines, and reference points for civil works using approved drawings and design data.
  • •Perform routine and specialized surveys (topographic, cross-section, and volume/quantity) to support construction planning and progress measurement.
  • •Carry out as-built surveys to verify constructed works conform to approved design and tolerances, and prepare as-built drawings and survey records for handover.
  • •Process survey data, maintain survey records (field books, calculation sheets, instrument logs), liaise with QA/QC and contractor survey teams, and support monitoring surveys (settlement, deformation, alignment checks).

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 5 to 8 years of construction/site surveying experience, including setting-out and as-built survey work.
  • •Proficiency with survey instruments (total station, GNSS/GPS, levels) and survey/CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D).
  • •Degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering or a related field, or demonstrated equivalent experience.
  • •Middle East/UAE construction/site surveying experience is highly advantageous.
  • •Rail or major infrastructure project experience is preferable.
