Key Responsibilities

  • •Co-lead and coordinate financial reporting activities across a portfolio of HSBC Continental Europe–administered entities in Luxembourg.
  • •Ensure financial statements and other reports are prepared in line with required standards, meeting reporting requirements and deadlines.
  • •Provide support and guidance to the Luxembourg team and external service providers to ensure effective service delivery.
  • •Provide consultancy on the implementation of traditional, alternative, and private asset structures.
  • •Oversee and govern outsourced processes and manage reporting process communication with the CSSF as required.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong experience in investment funds financial reporting with solid general fund accounting knowledge.
  • •Up-to-date understanding of CSSF regulatory expectations and relevant accounting standards, including latest IFRS and Lux GAAP as applied to investment funds.
  • •Technical knowledge of accounting for securities and derivatives, fund of funds, private assets funds, and fund structures (pooling, multi-class, feeder).
  • •Working knowledge of AIFMD and UCITS V requirements impacting fund operations and reporting.
  • •Ability to organize workloads efficiently and independently, motivate a team, and deliver to deadlines.
