Key Responsibilities

  • •Build Harvey across every surface (web, desktop, mobile, embedded, and API) and bring AI to where customers already work.
  • •Lead large, high-priority projects spanning multiple teams and define key technical bets over coming quarters.
  • •Develop AI-platform and AI-native capabilities including agent harnesses/loops, tool calling, retrieval, memory/context management, personalization/tone, and evals.
  • •Ship backend and cross-stack systems for retrieval at petabyte scale, ingestion growth, data collection across jurisdictions, and robust security.
  • •Architect and ship streaming results, long-running processes, and complex tool-calling workflows; mentor staff engineers and raise org-wide engineering standards.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years post-BS/MS product-focused software engineering experience at Staff level or above.
  • •Depth in full stack, backend, or agent/AI development with breadth across domains.
  • •Experience building scalable, extensible systems supporting multiple product lines.
  • •Track record shipping highly intuitive products in fast-growing SaaS with strong attention to detail.
  • •Proficiency with React and TypeScript plus Python and Postgres; for agents/AI, hands-on building and shipping agentic systems (harnesses/loops, tool use, memory, evals).
