Key Responsibilities

  • •Unload incoming ingredients in bags and bulk trucks, accurately performing simple math as needed.
  • •Keep assigned housekeeping areas clean, disinfected, and pressure washed as needed.
  • •Operate truck scales and the ticketing system.
  • •Obtain and run quality analysis on incoming ingredients, including pit swabs, ingredient moisture content, bushel weight, and UV observation.
  • •Follow additional assigned duties such as operating the Tyson Mill Control System (TMCS) and following blow down permits.

Key Requirements

  • •Must have at least 12 months of consecutive work history with one employer and no employment gaps greater than 6 months in the past 36 months (18 months for certain laid off/care situations).
  • •Willing to obtain forklift certification.
  • •Must be willing to complete biosecurity requirements (showering, changing clothing and footwear before entering the facility) and sign biosecurity agreements.
  • •Must be able to perform physical demands, including safely lifting up to 60 pounds regularly and up to 120 pounds occasionally.
  • •Strong communication skills to accurately convey opinions and concerns.
