Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, develop, and implement FPGA firmware using VHDL for FPGA, SoC, and CPLD platforms.
  • •Lead FPGA development lifecycle activities from requirements through deployment, including development of BSPs and peripheral interfaces.
  • •Create automated test benches and perform simulation, debugging, and validation of FPGA and SoC designs.
  • •Support system integration, verification, and production activities, including troubleshooting issues at PCB assembly level.
  • •Produce technical documentation and ensure firmware development compliance with aerospace/defense standards such as DO-254 and support DO-178 processes where applicable.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree (4-year) or higher in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • •5–8 years of hands-on FPGA firmware development experience.
  • •Strong VHDL development and verification skills, including experience with FPGA/CPLD platforms.
  • •Experience with Intel Altera and/or AMD Xilinx FPGA families (e.g., Cyclone, Zynq-7000) and CPLDs (e.g., Intel Max10).
  • •Knowledge of aerospace/defense standards including DO-254 and DO-178, plus embedded C development on SoC platforms.
