Job Summary

Provide personal financial counseling and management services to service members and families at military installations, develop and present financial education materials, and coordinate a range of Personal Financial Management programs in collaboration with DoD partners.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide personal financial counseling and management services directly to service members and their families.
•Assist service members in establishing a spending plan for extended absences.
•Develop and disseminate informational financial materials to service members and families.
•Coordinate, publicize and deliver Personal Financial Management classes/workshops across the military lifecycle.
•Respond to requests for age-appropriate classes or seminars and utilize virtual counseling or electronic modes of communication as needed.
•Manage duty to warn situations according to DoD protocol and communicate with leadership in supervision and trend reporting.
•Participate in regular training, quality improvement activities and other contract-related duties as assigned.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 58,440 - 93,500 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree required; may consider applicants with an associate degree plus 4 years' experience in lieu of bachelor's degree or a high school diploma plus 6 years' experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree
•3+ years of financial counseling experience
•Must be a U.S. citizen and fluent in English; may be bilingual in English and Spanish if required by contract
•Must have one of the following certifications: Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), or Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC)
•Be able to obtain a favorably adjudicated Tier 2 investigation and pass the Congressionally Mandated Disclosures for Organizational Conflicts of Interest (OCI) process
