Key Responsibilities

•Lead complex and standard bridge projects from concept through detailed design, ensuring high-quality and technically sound outcomes.
•Develop conceptual, preliminary, and detailed designs for bridges, retaining walls, culverts, and other civil structures supporting major transportation corridors.
•Conduct inspections, structural assessments, and rehabilitation designs that enhance the longevity and safety of existing assets.
•Prepare construction quantities, cost estimates, and documentation to support tendering and funding decisions.
•Complete independent reviews and quality assurance checks to maintain technical excellence across deliverables.

Key Requirements

•A degree in Civil Engineering with a Professional Engineer license in Manitoba (or eligibility via mobility).
•10+ years of experience delivering detailed bridge designs, including projects with complex geometry and multidisciplinary interfaces.
•Strong technical proficiency using structural analysis tools such as CSIBridge and MIDAS.
•Deep knowledge of CAN/CSA‑S6 design codes and standards.
•Experience in structural inspection, assessment, rehabilitation work, and field review during construction.
