Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead complex and standard bridge projects from concept through detailed design, ensuring high-quality and technically sound outcomes.
  • •Develop conceptual, preliminary, and detailed designs for bridges, retaining walls, culverts, and other civil structures supporting major transportation corridors.
  • •Conduct inspections, structural assessments, and rehabilitation designs that enhance the longevity and safety of existing assets.
  • •Prepare construction quantities, cost estimates, and documentation to support tendering and funding decisions.
  • •Complete independent reviews and quality assurance checks to maintain technical excellence across deliverables.

Key Requirements

  • •A degree in Civil Engineering with a Professional Engineer license in Manitoba (or eligibility via mobility).
  • •10+ years of experience delivering detailed bridge designs, including projects with complex geometry and multidisciplinary interfaces.
  • •Strong technical proficiency using structural analysis tools such as CSIBridge and MIDAS.
  • •Deep knowledge of CAN/CSA‑S6 design codes and standards.
  • •Experience in structural inspection, assessment, rehabilitation work, and field review during construction.
