Key Responsibilities

  • •Directly supervise assigned industrial production lines, including start-up, run, and shutdown activities.
  • •Ensure safety, quality, quantity, and housekeeping standards are followed by packers and operators, including compliance with Environmental Health & Safety programs.
  • •Review production orders, verify resins and concentrates for the lines, and organize work for smooth operations.
  • •Perform and oversee equipment/process setup, adjustments, and quality checks; document paperwork and ensure products meet specifications while minimizing scrap.
  • •Train machine operators and packers on the full blown film production process, quality checks, and equipment operation; troubleshoot extrusion, bag machines, and winders; assist when lines go down.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma (equivalent) or two years of previous blown film-manufacturing experience.
  • •Strong mechanical background (a plus) and the ability to operate and manage start-up, process control, and shutdown of production lines.
  • •Have a valid Amcor forklift license.
  • •Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
  • •Ability to perform functional math and calculate blend density, layer thickness, and output yield using measuring devices and a handheld calculator.
