Job Summary

Lead complex infrastructure systems engineering efforts across the full program lifecycle for aerospace and defense mission-critical national defense systems. Drive system architecture development, CONOPS, interface definitions, and MBSE artifacts using SysML, while providing technical leadership for integration, verification/validation, troubleshooting, and accreditation. Collaborate across software, hardware, cybersecurity, integration, and test teams, mentor engineering staff, and support proposals and technical estimation in on-site classified lab environments.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead systems engineering activities across the full development lifecycle for complex aerospace and defense systems.
•Develop system architectures, CONOPS, interface definitions, and MBSE artifacts using SysML.
•Provide technical leadership for system integration, verification, validation, troubleshooting, and accreditation.
•Drive cross-functional collaboration across software, hardware, cybersecurity, integration, and test teams.
•Manage technical execution including risks/opportunities, schedules, cost, and performance objectives while mentoring engineering teams and interfacing with customers and stakeholders.

•Proven experience capturing customer requirements, developing operational concepts, and deriving and tracing system and subsystem requirements.
•Strong communication and presentation skills with executive leadership, customers, program teams, and external stakeholders.
•Experience leading technical decision-making, risk management, and system-level trade studies in complex development environments.
•Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD Top Secret security clearance; U.S. citizenship required. Typically requires a STEM degree with 8 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 5 years of experience.
