Key Responsibilities

•Start up and commission new systems, and diagnose and repair environmental-control systems in commercial settings.
•Serve as direct customer contact and service products and equipment to ensure customer satisfaction at customer locations.
•Coordinate with team leader and customer on onsite installation and repair requirements by forecasting issues, gathering materials, and synchronizing work.
•Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Trane products related to installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair of direct digital control systems.
•Enforce safety standards and maintain security/accountability of company and procured assets; maintain flexibility for overtime and occasional overnight stays.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma (or equivalent) and typically 3-5 years of HVAC/controls experience; technical school or formal training preferred.
•Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office and proficiency with handheld computer devices (smartphone, iPad).
•Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major or frequent traffic violations (including DUI, hit-and-run, or license suspension).
•Preferred experience with direct digital control (DDC) controls systems.
•EPA preferred.
