Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as a market expert on CRE loans.
  • •Generate new CRE loan and cross-sell opportunities by underwriting collateral and guarantor, structuring loans, and preparing approval packages for loan committee.
  • •Negotiate and document loans in coordination with the Loan Closing Coordinator and outside legal counsel (as applicable).
  • •Oversee a portfolio of CRE loans, including reviewing construction draw requests, monitoring collateral performance vs. covenants and appraisal assumptions, and recommending risk rating adjustments.
  • •Prepare renewals, modifications, and annual reviews; mentor junior CRE lender(s) and represent UMB as a senior CRE lender in the market.
