•Define and drive the vision for Etsy’s payments partnerships function, shaping the partner portfolio over time.
•Serve as the senior point of accountability for strategic payment partnerships, maintaining executive relationships and resolving escalations.
•Lead high-stakes commercial processes including RFPs, contract renewals, and deal structuring affecting payment economics and capabilities.
•Own the operating framework for partner performance using scorecards, QBRs, SLA accountability, and rapid response to critical issues.
•Build and scale a high-performing team and develop partnership strategies tied to buyer conversion, seller experience, payments resilience, and margin.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 218,000 - 283,000 annually

Key Requirements

•10+ years building and scaling strategic partnerships in payments, FinTech, marketplace infrastructure, or financial services.
•Proven track record leading high-stakes commercial negotiations with large enterprise or platform partners, from term sheet through execution.
•Fluency across the payments stack, including card networks, processors, APMs, payouts, risk management, and identity/verification.
•Track record building structured partner operating models with performance SLAs, escalation paths, and executive QBRs at scale.
•Ability to translate deal terms into product and engineering implications (and vice versa) without losing context.
