Key Responsibilities

  • •Work with hot mix asphalt (HMA) by raking and shoveling.
  • •Help pave roadways on highways, private roadways, parking lots, driveways using handheld tools.
  • •Partner with crew members to pave per plan specifications and assist other positions as instructed by the crew foreman.
  • •Perform shoveling and sweeping tasks associated with heavy highway construction.
  • •Help ensure daily schedules/estimates are met while working in extreme weather conditions.

Key Requirements

  • •1 or more years of road construction experience is preferred.
