Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform CAD solid modeling, design simulation, and create product specifications and drawing packages including BOM and Change Order documentation.
  • •Design parts and assemblies (including sheet metal, plastics, mechanisms, electrical and wiring, and/or packaging) and support prototype assembly, testing, and design validation.
  • •Participate in project management and coordination using PROLaunch and other project management tools to achieve multi-disciplinary goals.
  • •Assist with Voice of the Customer (VOC) product and market requirements research and help maintain and upgrade existing products through MOL and VAVE support.
  • •Support third-party certifications (e.g., UL, CSA, ISTA) and assist with design test preparation, test reports/data entry, and analysis to recommend improvements.

Key Requirements

  • •Must be pursuing a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or Engineering Technology from an accredited institution.

  • •Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher.
  • •Must be willing to relocate to the Cleveland, TN site for the internship (relocation assistance for candidates outside a 50-mile radius).
  • •Minimum of one internship or co-op experience (or equivalent of 3 months of relevant experience) completed at the time of application.
