Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, develop, and deliver cloud-based infrastructure projects on a modern tech stack (Redis, Elasticsearch, Docker, Terraform on AWS).
  • •Evaluate, develop, and roll out new common microservices.
  • •Operate, support, and upgrade shared services and frameworks; scale as usage grows.
  • •Participate in design and code reviews and maintain high programming standards with unit and functional tests.
  • •Monitor, troubleshoot, and collaborate with architects, QA, product owners, security, and operations; mentor new engineering hires and interns.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • •7+ years of expansive programming experience in an object-oriented language (Java), including multithreading, garbage collection, and memory management.
  • •4+ years working with MySQL or equivalent relational databases; knowledge of NoSQL is a plus.
  • •Demonstrated experience with REST and fundamentals; familiarity with Agile.
  • •Knowledge of Spring/Spring Boot/Hibernate/Tomcat and AWS plus Redis, Elasticsearch, and Docker.
