Job Summary

Serve as the primary service and maintenance contact for Trane Technologies customers in a commercial market, handling HVAC commissioning, troubleshooting, repair, and startup. Use air conditioning theory, pipe fitting knowledge, mechanical layouts, and blueprints/specifications to diagnose and fix systems on customer sites. Coordinate with team leaders and customers on installation and repairs, maintain safety and accountability of company assets, and mentor team members as needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform end-to-end testing, programming downloads, startup, commissioning, and servicing on assigned HVAC projects.
•Serve as direct customer contact for servicing equipment and ensuring customer satisfaction by diagnosing and repairing systems at customer locations.
•Coordinate with team leader/project manager and customers to understand requirements for on-site installations and repairs, forecasting issues and synchronizing work.
•Use cutting-edge software/technology and hand tools, following blueprints or engineering specifications, to diagnose and repair units.
•Enforce safety standards, maintain accountability of company assets, and mentor team members while supporting overtime and occasional overnight stays.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 27.69 - 51.49 hourly

Key Requirements

•High school diploma (or equivalent) or a certificate of completion from an accredited technical school is required; typically 10+ years of HVAC experience.
•Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office and working proficiency with a hand-held computer (smartphone, iPad).
•Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major or frequent traffic violations (including specified offenses) in the prior 3 years.
•EPA certification is preferred (e.g., HVAC Journeyman, Boiler Operator, Gas Installer).
•Ability to meet physical and safety requirements for field work, including PPE use and ladder/rooftop access.
