Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead supplier selection for specific products using the approved supplier list and manage relationships with strategic suppliers.
  • •Coordinate with engineering, quality, and manufacturing to accelerate development through early design engagement, clear statements of work, and cost trade analyses.
  • •Develop and consolidate manufacturing BOMs, enabling ramp production with high supplier flexibility and cross-functional support.
  • •Oversee CAPEX for New Product Introduction (NPI) and drive cost engineering to converge bottoms-up costs to product cost while maximizing total cost of ownership.
  • •Conduct value-stream mapping to optimize supply network lead times, identify risks, and implement component/sourcing rationalization to reduce complexity.

Salary: USD 129,000 - 171,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other technical field
  • •3+ years of experience in sourcing engineering, supplier engagement and development, or design of electronics and/or mechanical devices
  • •Domain expertise of value/procurement engineering or TCO-related work at the component & product level
  • •Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
  • •Ability to relocate, if not already local to be onsite in Costa Mesa, CA
