Job Summary

Oversee the installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of Intelligent Transportation Systems on a major transportation network in Abu Dhabi. Monitor construction activities for compliance with approved designs, specifications, quality and safety requirements, and authority regulations. Review contractor submittals and commissioning plans, coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering supervision teams, witness FAT/SAT and integrated testing, and produce site and closeout documentation to support timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

•Supervise ITS installation, testing, and commissioning on-site.
•Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, project requirements, and relevant standards.
•Review contractor submittals, shop drawings, method statements, testing procedures, and commissioning plans related to ITS systems.
•Witness factory acceptance tests (FAT), site acceptance tests (SAT), integrated testing, and commissioning activities.
•Prepare inspection and non-conformance reporting (NCRs, snagging reports, progress updates) and support project closeout with as-built documentation and final acceptance.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
•Minimum 5 years of professional experience in ITS engineering and construction supervision.
•Demonstrated experience working on ITS construction projects within the UAE.
•Experience supervising ITS installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
•Good understanding of ITS standards, traffic management systems, communications networks, and systems integration.
