Key Responsibilities

  • •Collaborate with engineers, hydraulic modellers, environmental scientists, and technical specialists to deliver projects in the UK and overseas, liaising with clients on scope, proposals, and progress.
  • •Produce feasibility studies, outline designs, detailed designs, reports, and technical specifications.
  • •Ensure design compliance with applicable standards and regulations and provide technical expertise for interdisciplinary analytical studies.
  • •Mentor junior team members and contribute to their technical development as engineers.
  • •Deliver multi-disciplinary projects from inception to delivery, creating innovative solutions that enhance the environment and improve communities.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree (or demonstratable equivalent experience) in Civil Engineering.
  • •Proven experience within the water sector at senior level.
  • •Chartered/Incorporated or working towards chartered status with a relevant institution e.g. ICE, CIWEM.
  • •Experience undertaking engineering assessments, options appraisals, engineering calculations and/or economic appraisals.
  • •Experience of outline and/or detailed design, preferably for wastewater or water treatment schemes or flood risk management, assessment, or drainage schemes.
