Key Responsibilities

  • •Work safely and promote the Pick-n-Pull Safety Culture, using assigned PPE correctly and collaborating with a safety buddy.
  • •Remove Freon, fluids, batteries, excess garbage, and other materials according to prescribed procedures.
  • •Extract gasoline, coolant, waste oil, transfer case oil, catalytic converters, and other fluids/components in accordance with procedures.
  • •Dismantle engines and transmissions, harvest cores/wire, sort commodity materials, and operate equipment such as a tire machine.
  • •Assist customers professionally as needed and prepare shipment materials (Gaylord boxes/pallets), complete regulatory/tracking logs, and maintain stormwater control devices.

Key Requirements

  • •Follow verbal and written instructions, including understanding basic safety messages, labels, and hazard communications (e.g., waste oil, gasoline, flammable materials).
  • •Work required hours including weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
  • •Work effectively in a variety of outdoor weather conditions (rain, snow, extreme heat, cold) for a full shift.
  • •Prior experience in automotive repair or vehicle dismantling, or experience operating tools and machinery, with familiarity with automotive parts.
