Key Responsibilities

  • •Install and repair telematics systems and devices on vehicles, construction equipment, heavy equipment, and customer assets.
  • •Operate machinery at times during installation for testing purposes.
  • •Remove and replace ignition systems without custom keypad/controller and integrate communication between keypad and telematics systems.
  • •Handle a range of installation scenarios, including custom wiring harnesses when accessing CAN networks of vehicles and equipment.
  • •Troubleshoot installation issues by gathering/analyzing information, travel to client sites or rental yards, and occasionally work outside business hours and weekends.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent; trade school certificate preferred.
  • •Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with tools with strong attention to detail.
  • •Relevant experience (e.g., electrician, HVAC tech, car audio installer, mobile electronics installer, automotive electronics technician, or 12V technician).
  • •Ability to travel within a 250-mile radius of the local branch for up to a week at a time.
  • •Clean driving record and ability to pass background check; safety-sensitive offer contingent on passing a 10 panel drug screen.
