Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and execute global plans for IT and Telco sub-categories to drive cost savings, continuous improvement, and innovation.
  • •Maintain deep understanding of IT supply markets to provide insights on best practices, market challenges, and best-fit vendors.
  • •Lead sourcing initiatives such as RFPs, shape demand management, and deliver commercial guidance to influence senior decision-making.
  • •Create and deliver supplier relationship management plans and preferred supplier policies.
  • •Collaborate with the wider WPP Procurement team and lead or participate in matrixed project environments.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven experience in technology procurement, including leading complex, high-value RFPs and category plans in a global environment.
  • •Strong contract and Statement of Work (SOW) drafting experience, with the ability to lead pragmatic commercial negotiations.
  • •Experience managing complex IT supplier relationships and influencing senior business leaders.
  • •Strong project management skills to multi-task in matrixed teams, including collaboration with offshore teams.
