Job Summary

Own global sourcing activities for the Technology and Telco category (with a focus on IT), translating market insight into category strategy. Lead RFPs for complex goods and services, negotiate statements of work and master agreements, and deliver commercial guidance to senior stakeholders. Maintain strong supplier relationship management plans and preferred supplier policies, while collaborating across the wider WPP Procurement team in a hybrid environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and execute global plans for IT and Telco sub-categories to drive cost savings, continuous improvement, and innovation.
•Maintain deep understanding of IT supply markets to provide insights on best practices, market challenges, and best-fit vendors.
•Lead sourcing initiatives such as RFPs, shape demand management, and deliver commercial guidance to influence senior decision-making.
•Create and deliver supplier relationship management plans and preferred supplier policies.
•Collaborate with the wider WPP Procurement team and lead or participate in matrixed project environments.

Key Requirements

•Proven experience in technology procurement, including leading complex, high-value RFPs and category plans in a global environment.
•Strong contract and Statement of Work (SOW) drafting experience, with the ability to lead pragmatic commercial negotiations.
•Experience managing complex IT supplier relationships and influencing senior business leaders.
•Strong project management skills to multi-task in matrixed teams, including collaboration with offshore teams.
