Key Responsibilities

  • •Own high-impact platform systems used across search, including Kubernetes-based runtime environments, CI/CD, and deployment platforms.
  • •Partner cross-functionally with platform engineers, ML teams, and product partners to define standards and evolve cloud platforms for high availability search.
  • •Build developer-facing platforms and tooling such as self-service deploys, observability, Bazel workflows, and search-specific CI/CD.
  • •Operate business-critical systems with on-call responsibility while continuously improving reliability, operability, and developer experience.
  • •Evolve the search platform by identifying friction areas and automating away toil to reduce support load and technical debt.

Salary: EUR 95,000 - 112,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of software engineering experience, with the last 2 years in systems/infrastructure engineering, SRE, or DevOps (preferably in a cloud environment).
  • •Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform) and configuration management (Chef/Ansible).
  • •Strong debugging skills on Linux-based operating systems.
  • •Solid cloud experience with Google Cloud or AWS.
  • •Experience with Kubernetes and observability (e.g., Grafana), plus willingness to improve and operate business-critical systems via on-call.
