Job Summary

Join the inspection solutions team to perform on-site vehicle inspections at OPENLANE Vehicle Logistics Centers. You’ll evaluate vehicles for wear, tear, neglect, damage, previous repair, and structural issues, and complete road tests as needed. Using mobile inspection tools, OBD scanners, paint meters, and other industry hardware/software, you’ll follow training and best practices while maintaining a strong safety mindset across varying weather conditions.

Job Function: Field Service, Maintenance & Skilled Trades

Key Responsibilities

•Perform on-site inspections of vehicles for wear, tear, neglect, damage, previous repair, and structural damage.
•Complete road tests as needed.
•Use technology such as mobile inspection tools, OBD scanners, and paint meters to support accurate inspections.
•Develop and apply industry best practices and standards through initial and continuous training.
•Follow safety expectations while working in all types of weather conditions.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 21 hourly
