Key Responsibilities

  • •Change molds as scheduled or required by breakdowns.
  • •Make necessary connections/disconnections for mold changes and prep machine plates for mold set activity.
  • •Follow all set up instructions documented in the mold book; keep mold carts, hose area, and mold setting areas clean, stocked, and organized.
  • •Repair/inspect electrical, water, and pneumatic circuits as needed and operate lifting devices and overhead crane for installation and removal of mold tools.
  • •Document mold change activity and mold locations in the shopfloor reporting system and mold book; follow safety and production procedures.
