Key Responsibilities

•Contribute directly to container technologies and security libraries vendored into Podman, Podman Desktop, Buildah, Skopeo, OpenShift, and Kubernetes.
•Participate in a cross-functional Scrum team, delivering demos of completed work within sprint boundaries.
•Engage with upstream communities (Fedora, Podman, Buildah) and coordinate with product managers and community members.
•Design, implement, and maintain automated test cases and ensure documentation for new code.
•Analyze defects, design resilient solutions, and respond to security threats while delivering fixes.

Key Requirements

•Proficiency in Go (Golang)
•Solid experience with Linux and containers (Kubernetes)
•Strong Git/GitHub/GitLab experience and CI/CD
•Security mindset and familiarity with AI in software development
•Good written and spoken English for distributed teams
