Key Responsibilities

  • •Define and govern the I2O AI reference architecture across PP&S’s three delivery areas.
  • •Set integration patterns, tooling evaluation standards, and reuse frameworks to prevent AI fragmentation across initiatives.
  • •Own end-to-end AI reference architecture, including producing architecture decision records and technical standards for teams to follow.
  • •Lead PP&S data strategy for AI by identifying, structuring, and governing data assets and resolving data access/quality issues.
  • •Evaluate new AI technologies and provide architectural guidance for AI analytics/reporting infrastructure tracking adoption and efficiency gains.

Key Requirements

  • •University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Systems; master’s preferred.
  • •8+ years in solution architecture, AI/ML engineering, or technical program delivery, including 3+ years in an explicit enterprise architecture role.
  • •Hands-on experience with SAP’s AI stack: SAP BTP, AI Core, Business Data Cloud (BDC), and MCP Servers.
  • •Strong command of modern AI/LLM patterns including RAG pipelines, prompt engineering, and agentic frameworks (e.g., ReAct), with ability to evaluate and challenge decisions.
  • •Proficiency in Python for prototyping, evaluation, and hands-on proof-of-concept work alongside engineering teams.
